- Church of Panteleymon healer, Kuyalnik
With the development of the resort area near Kuyalnyk estuary, it became necessary to build a church in this place.
The plan of the architect Arkady Todorov was approved for the construction of the church. On March 6, 1886 there was a sprinkling of the construction site and the laying of the building. At the base of the church was laid a metal board with the inscription "from March 6, 1886 was laid the foundation of the church with the school on base of it on the bank of Kuyalnyk estuary."
By the end of the summer, namely on August 31, the construction of the temple and school had been completed and the temple consecrated. Simultaneously with the opening of the temple began its activity a one-class public school.
The temple was also built in order for the priest to serve at the same time as having the opportunity to teach at the school. The first priest was Vasilyi Nedzhanov, who accepted the priesthood to serve in this church and teach in parallel.
In 1929, the temple was closed and the priests were repressed. The domes were demolished and the church premises turned into a warehouse. During World War II, a hospital was housed in the temple building.
In the period 1947-1972, a school for the younger classes was opened here. After that it was kindergarten.
In 1989, the first congregation of the Russian Orthodox Church was organized in the temple.
In 1991, a congregation of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church was organized and the temple was donated to the UOC (Ukrainian orthodox church).
Already in 2005, a bell tower was built, communications and heating systems were made.
At the moment, the rector of the Church of the Holy Martyr and Healer Panteleimon is Archpriest Sergius.
