The museum of the weapons history was founded by Vitalii Hryhorovych Shlaifer - the head of thе LLC “Diana 92”. He gathered lots of exhibits dedicated to various time periods starting from middle Palaeolithic times to the mid 20th. The total amount of represented exhibits exceed 4000.

The mission of this museum is to save the memory about Kiyv Rus and Mongol horde periods and increase the awareness of Carl XII and Napoleon’s forces and generally show Ukraine from the historical perspective.

Among the weapons’ models there are some medieval European firearms, ritual kinds of weapon and even eastern blades. The special attention is paid to collection of Ukrainian weapons and battles. Talking about some interesting facts about museum it’s worth mentioning that it has the biggest amount of maces. Also museum exhibitions show how the attitude to weapon has been changing throughout the centuries and so visitors can make parallels with histories of different nations. One more great feature of this place is its convenient structure - all halls are separated by regions and national features of weapons.

The open hours of this museum are from 9 am to 6 pm It works on a daily basis and is located on Lenin 189 st in Zaporizhzhia. The entrance fee for children is about 5₴ and the cost of excursion is 50₴. Wish you to have the great time exploring this magical place!
