Khortytsia Island, Zaporizhzhia

Khortytsia is the largest island on the Dnipro. He actually divides the city of Zaporizhzhya into two shores: right and left. The island holds many secrets and stories. Both Scythians and Cossacks left their mark here. Everyone can find something interesting for themselves, because the island is, in fact, unique. If you are a lover of history, then in the north of the island is Sich with houses and a church of the Cossack era. Here you can forge a coin and shoot with a gun. If you like nature more, you can rent a bicycle, or come on your own, and ride on forest trails (if you want, go hiking) and see many interesting animals, because Khortytsya is also a national reserve where bunnies, foxes and various birds. The main thing is not to run into a wild boar.

In the middle of the island is the Scythian Estate. There you can find mounds, millstones and other remnants of Scythian culture. There is also an observation tower, from where you can see the island from above. If you are a fan of performances, I ask you to go to the Equestrian Theater, where the Cossacks perform all sorts of tricks on horses. I also invite you to look at the Seagull. Not on a bird, but on a "Seagull" - a boat that sailed the Cossacks. She was raised from the depths of the Dnipro, and now she willingly adorns herself in front of guests.
