The village of Gorodishche has only recently been a little two wooden churches - architectural monuments of the XVIII - XIX centuries.
The Nicholas Church cannot be seen, it was dismantled in 2016 for transfer to the Pirogovo open-air museum. It was a unique landmark of wooden monumental architecture of Left-Bank Ukraine. The other, the Mikhailovsky Church, stands on a hill in the center of the village, has a 150-year history and keeps unique murals inside.
How to get there!?
By car, drive along the highway from the city of Mena to the 50th km and turn off in the village of Gorodishche and Sinyavki. By the way, if it were not for the pointer, it would be difficult to find the border where one village ends and another begins.
