The Museum of Retro Cars in Zaporizhzhia is a unique attraction that will be of interest to both adults and children. Here you can see more than 60 models of vintage cars, created in the 20-60's of the 20th century. Many of the cars that are not accessible to visitors are being renovated by the museum's masters. The exhibition halls of the museum cover an area exceeding 1000 square meters. This is a truly unique feature of this Zaporozhye landmark. A truly legendary technique is housed in the vast territory of the museum.

When you visit the Museum of Retro Cars in Zaporozhye, you will get acquainted with a private collection of rare vehicles — local and foreign brands. Many of them have been restored by members of a car club called Phaeton. Elegant, powerful and unique retro-car models will stand out in all their glory. Here you will come face to face with the famous Dodge, Ural-Zis, Willis, the legendary Katyusha and many others. All the cars are on the go. They have more than once participated in car shows.

Among the rare exhibits of the museum is the GAZ-AA of 1935 — the oldest Ukrainian truck, popularly known as the "Polutorka". The king of cars here is the old Opel, perfectly restored after considerable damage. It is said that before the repair, it looked like a sieve. Katyusha or ZIS-6 is one of the main attractions of the museum. In our country you can no longer find such a machine in working order.

The department, reporting on the Great Patriotic War, decorates the main car of the Red Army — ZiS-5 or "Tritonka" among common people. It was restored in an interesting way. The machine was exchanged for KAMAZ parts at one of Kherson's collective farms. The museum also has a so-called "Morgunovka", which the hero of the famous Soviet movie "Operation I" could easily deploy during exciting events. In addition, you can see other retro cars, shown in the films "Star" and "At Nameless Height".

The Museum of Retro Cars isn't famous with only a collection of rare cars, but also an exhibition of two-wheeled vehicles — motorcycles and mopeds. You can also see the toy models here, as well as the pedal-equipped baby cars.

The museum is open daily from 9am to 5pm. Admission for adults to all halls — 30 UAH, children's — 20 UAH. Admission for veterans and combatants is free. The Museum of Retro Cars in Zaporizhzhia is the only public museum in this branch in Ukraine. Unique of its kind, it was recently opened in the city and quickly gained wide popularity within locals and tourist. The magnificent private collection of antique cars presented in its exposition is amazing in its variety and beautiful condition.
